Fly over Teotihuacan
We take off at dawn from our launch site and fly over the archaeological zone, with the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon below the basket.
Every flight ends with the traditional toast and your flight certificate. Depending on your package, breakfast is a buffet or served inside a cave.

The balloon port by night
A few times a year, the plain where our balloons take off becomes a stage. On dates like Día de Muertos or Christmas we host special nights with a pre-Hispanic show, dance, live music and a copal smoke ceremony, a few minutes from the pyramids.
Many of these nights include camping: you sleep at the balloon port and wake up to the balloons inflating at sunrise. We also run tethered rises, where the balloon goes up while still anchored to the ground, without taking off, so you can take in the view from the basket.
When you book you can rent tents for 4 or 6 people, blankets and sleeping mats, or bring your own. Coffee and bread are on the house at reception. Every event has its own program and price: message us on WhatsApp and we'll tell you about the next one.

Your day
Your flight, step by step
Before your flight
Book your date
Choose your package and the day you want to fly. Flights take off at dawn, between 4:00 and 8:00 a.m.: under AFAC rules, no balloon may be in the air after 9:00 a.m.
We pick you up
On the day of your flight, one of our drivers collects you from your hotel or the pickup point of your choice and brings you to our launch site.
At the launch site
Check-in and weigh-in
At reception you check in and we weigh you. This step is required: the pilot places passengers in the basket by weight to keep the balloon balanced.
Coffee break
While your balloon is being inflated, relax in our coffee break area with coffee, tea and fresh bread.
Photo session
Our photographers capture you in different poses and with fun props, whenever you would like them to.
In the air
Takeoff at sunrise
You lift off and drift over Teotihuacan as the sun comes up. The wind sets the route each day: our pilots always chase the best view, which is why no two flights are alike.
Landing and toast
Once we land, we raise a glass just as on the very first balloon flights in France, when aeronauts celebrated with champagne alongside the village where they came down.
Heading back
Back to the launch site
We head back to the launch site. If your package includes it, we stop at the archaeological zone along the way.
Your flight certificate
At reception you receive your certificate. Grab a bite to eat and take home a souvenir from our shop.
We take you back
Your driver takes you back to your hotel or starting point.

Booking and payment
How do I book?
Online with the Book button, or on WhatsApp with one of our sales advisors.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, $500 MXN per passenger when you book. We plan every flight the night before around the confirmed passengers, and your deposit holds your place in the basket. You pay the rest at reception on the day of your flight.
How can I pay?
At reception we take cash, bank transfers and cards; card payments carry an extra 5% terminal fee. When booking, you can also pay by PayPal, which adds 6.5%. We accept US dollars at a fixed rate of $16 MXN per dollar.
Is there a weight surcharge?
Yes. For safety, we weigh every passenger at reception, and from 100 kg there is a charge of $35 MXN for each additional kilo. For example, a passenger weighing 102 kg pays $70 MXN extra.
Do children pay less?
No. Children take up their own place in the basket, in the transport and at breakfast. They can fly from age 4; younger children don't board the balloon, but they can enjoy the rest of the experience.
Changes and cancellations
Can I change my date?
Yes, free of charge, if you let us know on WhatsApp at least 48 hours in advance. Your new date must fall within the following three months.
What if I need to cancel?
If you cancel between 48 and 12 hours before your flight, 30% of the total is charged. With less than 12 hours' notice, the deposit is non-refundable.
What if someone in my group doesn't show up?
On flight day, only those who fly pay: if five people booked and four arrive, you pay for four. The deposit of the person who didn't come is non-refundable, since their seat was already set aside in the flight plan.
What if the weather doesn't allow us to fly?
The pilot decides each morning, always putting safety first. If wind, rain or fog make flying unsafe, we reschedule your flight with you at no cost, and your deposit carries over to your new date.
Flight day
What time should I arrive?
At 5:15 a.m. at our launch site in Teotihuacan; we confirm the exact time the night before. There is plenty of parking just steps from reception.
Can you pick me up?
If your package includes transport, we pick you up at any address in Mexico City. Your driver will call you the night before or that same morning to confirm the meeting point.
How long is the flight?
About 45 minutes in the air. The route and landing spot depend on that day's wind.
What should I wear?
Light, comfortable clothes. It's cool at dawn, but it gets very warm next to the burner, so a heavy coat just gets in the way. Feel free to arrive bundled up and leave your jacket in our free lockers.
What can I take on the balloon?
Your phone, a camera and small items. Backpacks and bags aren't allowed, not even small purses, because they can get caught during the flight. Everything else stays safe in our free lockers.
Are photos included?
They're sold separately. Our photographers shoot photos and drone video, and you can choose packages from $500 to $3,000 MXN, edited or unedited.
Can I celebrate a special occasion?
Absolutely! We have signs and banners for marriage proposals, declarations of love, anniversaries, birthdays and even for asking "Will you be my girlfriend?". Message us on WhatsApp so we can get everything ready.
Safety
Is hot air ballooning safe?
Yes. We're an AFAC-certified company, our pilots are certified, and every flight is decided that same morning based on the weather. All we ask is that you follow the pilot's instructions at all times.
Who can't fly?
For safety reasons, pregnant women, people with heart conditions or recent surgery, people with spinal problems, wheelchair users and anyone under the influence of alcohol or other substances cannot fly. If you weigh more than 200 kg, please check with us before booking: altitude puts real strain on the heart.
